HüMiN - Sphere Gallery - SEPTEMBER 19 TO OCTOBER 19 2024
Ottawa, Ontario “HüMiN” art exhibition. Abstract not so human art forms were on exhibit as Artist Kata Meic reveals stories and thoughts from a mind that is crowded. Black lights were used to illuminate and enhance the glow of the art and added a sense of magic and mystery to the collection. “Its interesting to see something you create take on a different perspective when the light changes, but really its the same piece it hasn’t changed only your perception of it has.” If you would like to see the entire collection (from what’s still available) pleases contact art@KATAMEiC.com.
Come and be a part of the Vernissage at this two person show “HüMiN” by Kata Meic and “IT’S FOR YOU” by Diane Woodward Thursday September 19 2024 from 3 to 8pm.
See “HüMiN” and “IT’S FOR YOU” live at Sphere Gallery until October 19 2024.

Reggae Rooster - ART-CELLO-FOOD - DECEMBER 16 2024
This event is different than anything you might expect | HüMiN is a one-of-a-kind art experience that both launches the idfRNt ® visual art of Kata Meic, alongside an unprecedented live cello performance by Raphael Weinroth-Browne (@raphcello), an internationally renowned cellist and composer who normally performs for audiences in Europe of over 40,000 people - but at this event, he will be performing two sets for an exclusive audience of 40! Raphael's cello music is refreshingly 'different', combining his classical training with progressive metal and Middle Eastern music in a tradition-defying combination. Visual artist, Kata Meic reveals her latest collection, which is also set to a 'different' tune, with expressive abstract figure art communicating an inner-world and experience of life through a neurodivergent aperture. Join us as she unveils idfRNt ® at the HüMiN pop-up vernissage, where blacklights will illuminate hidden stories. Take this all in while savouring the gastronomic delights of Caribbean cuisine at Reggae Rooster (@reggaeroosterottawa) on Somerset St.
Join us for two shows: Monday December 08 2024.
5:00 to 7:00pm - Doors open 4:30pm
7:30 to 9:30pm - Doors open 7pm

Oh Canada! My Country, My People! ATOMIC ROOSTER- ART SHOW- JULY 01 TO AUGUST 10 2025
Oh Canada! My Country, My People!
Another great show at the Atomic Rooster in Ottawa! This show we got the chance to be political. That really doesn’t matter for me I always have a lot to say…that’s why i’m an Artist.
Two pieces of art titled “North B Free” along with “Wild @ Heart” will be on display starting July 01 and will be up until August 10 2025. As you know, I write and doodle on all over my art, the back and the sides of the canvas are full. I have a lot to say! “North B Free” is a tribute to our land. Giving thanks and praise and to acknowledge our ancestors who land we occupy. I wrote out the anthem. well I sang it as I wrote it and I kept the original version. “ In all thy Sons command” I grew up singing it that way and Im not going to change it. I had to google to see what the new lyrics were so I wrote them out as well. Im proud to be Canadian, even though our voices are still yet to be heard…Im grateful to Shann and the Atomic Rooster for there continued support in giving artists and ART a voice and a chance to be heard.
So come by July 01 2025 for the Vernisage and check us Artists and Art at the Atomic Rooster. Events will be happening all day and into the night. The Rooster will be open early for brunch. Stay tuned for more info or visit the Atomic Rooster for more details.
See Ya’ll soon! Bye for now.
